The incumbent will assume the regular tasks of the Meal Service Attendant in addition to assuming the following tasks.
Main responsibilities

• Prepare, heat and finish cooking simple foods;
• Maintain your workplace in impeccable cleanliness and hygiene;
• Constantly check and ensure the quality and freshness of food, according to the standards and procedures established by the Banner;
• Demonstrate safety in your workplace:
• Ensure the maintenance and maintenance of the workplace and work equipment;
• Respect government hygiene and sanitation standards;
• At the end of your shift, complete the necessary list of foodstuffs to be produced for the next day;
• Fill refrigerators;
• Perform all other tasks assigned by your immediate superior and necessary for the proper functioning of the company
• Ensure the smooth running of operations at all times: assist and support your immediate superior;
• Act as a resource person for team members and guests;
• Ensure guest satisfaction and maintain a high level of customer service;
• Act as a reference person in the implementation of various procedures;
• Participate, in collaboration with your immediate superior, in the training of new employees and their sponsorship;
• Ensure that the merchandise is always displayed in an attractive manner and that the counter is clean, according to established standards;
• Participate, in collaboration with his immediate supervisor and the purchasing department, in monthly inventories, purchasing planning and execution, as well as replenishment orders from suppliers;
• Ensure the rotation of its stocks, which are stored according to government standards;
• Plan and clean refrigerators once a week;

Required skills, abilities and qualities

 

  • Secondary V or equivalent;
  • Leadership competency test, passing score 70%;
  • +1 year of experience in the basic position;
  • Experience in personnel management, an asset;
  • Training on food handling, an asset;
  • Basic knowledge of the English language;
  • Meet the physical requirements related to the position;
  • Be in good physical shape;
  • Be punctual, courteous and have a neat presentation;
  • Have attention to detail and be diligent at work.

Conditions:
Availability: full time during the day which may include weekends.

Start of schedule 5:00 a.m. – not compatible with public transportation
