Description of this role: About the role: We are looking for experienced and passionate professionals to help us achieve our ambitious mission, leading the medical operations team in adopting and championing scalable technology to improve healthcare. Effective review, approval and documentation of medical and business activities and events. The incumbent reports directly to the Strategic Operations Support Manager and works closely with all therapeutic areas in a transversal manner. Permanent position
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Medical Operations team in adopting and championing scalable technology to improve the efficiency of reviewing, approving and documenting medical and business activities and events. These events include, but are not limited to, advisory boards, consultations, medical conferences, conference programs, training, sponsorships, preceptorships and collaborative agreements.
Lead a team of associates and contract specialists to ensure the achievement of the organization’s objectives in terms of managing external events with healthcare professionals.
Lead a team of contracted associates and specialists to train Novartis associates on the correct use of healthcare professional interaction platforms, including onboarding new associates to the platform.
You are responsible for the continuous improvement of processes and systems and/or implementation that support the generation, approval, execution and documentation of the HCP engagement and payment process through payment portals. interaction or equivalent.

Essential requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field

- Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Agility and openness to change. Not just accepting change, but acting as an agent of change.
- Exceptional leadership skills to initiate, inspire and delegate effectively.
Desirable requirements:
- Fluency in English and French – oral and written
- Experience in managing teams
